Safety & community

Meet in a well-lit public place, inspect items before paying and bring someone with you when practical. Use caution with deposits, wire transfers, gift cards and payment requests from strangers.

Never share passwords, verification codes, banking credentials or identity documents in listings or messages. Keep initial conversations in NearLuck and avoid links that ask you to sign in elsewhere.

For housing, jobs and services, independently check ownership, credentials, licensing and offer details. A signed-in account is not proof of identity or reliability.

NearLuck currently provides no identity verification, customer reviews, payment processing or buyer protection. Report suspicious listings; use Contact support for help. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services.
